Get Kaitlin to Kona

Hi! I'm Kaitlin, and while I really hate asking people for help, here I am. On August 14th, I earned a rolldown slot to the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii! The only problem - the race is 7 weeks away (6 Oct!), and all affordable lodging is long gone. I got myself a flight, and spent all my remaining skymiles to get a flight for my mom to come out and cheer me on so I don't have to race alone, but the hotels and AirBnB's left are all $1K+ per night. Kona is a dream, a true once-in-a-lifetime event. I never imagined that a rolldown slot would ever be possible for me, and had been banking on the legacy program to race - meaning I wouldn't go to Kona for another 5-6 years probably. But here I am! Any funds I receive will go toward the price of lodging and my race entry fee.
