Get Josh to World Para Ice Hockey Championships

I’ve been selected to compete for team GB at the World Para Ice Hockey Championships, which is taking place in Norway in April.

Last year, my team trained hard and competed in B Pool in Kazakhstan, I have now been selected to compete alongside them in Norway to hold on to our B Pool position which is the pathway to the Paralympics.

Twelve years ago, I was in a tree felling accident which resulted in me becoming paralysed. Since then, I have tried many hobbies, sports and groups, but my life changed when I found para ice hockey. It has helped in not only my fitness and strength but massively in my confidence and mental health. I have been training with and playing for the Cardiff Huskies for over a year now, and to be selected for the GB Para Ice Hockey team is incredible, to compete would be a dream come true!

Unfortunately, our sport is completely self-funded! This includes competition fees, training camps, apparatus/equipment, accommodation, travel and all protective gear.

So we are fundraising for £2000 per athlete and I would be extremely grateful if you could help me reach my target.
