Anyone who knows Jonny knows that first and foremost, he is a father who adores his daughter. Perci lives in Pennsylvania, and Jonny lives in Georgia, making it difficult for him to get to see her for his monthly visits. Air travel is expensive, and unrealistic to do monthly with the city Perci lives in not being close to a major airport, not to mention the costs of rental cars and hotels on top of that. Historically, the most reliable way Jonny has traveled to see his daughter has been on the road.

In November, his trusted Toyota Solara finally bit the dust, and the car he got to replace it, a Honda CR-V, has just done the same. It was looked at by a mechanic who mislead Jonny into thinking it was “perfectly safe to drive” — it absolutely was not.

Currently, the cost to repair the car is likely more than the car is worth. Jonny needs a new car. Living in Atlanta, public transit is unreliable and unrealistic where we live (not close to a MARTA station), and he needs to have a car for his work commute and to see his daughter. Jonny is also a character performer with Southern Belle Character Company, a job that requires reliable transportation. We’re looking to cover the cost of a new (used) car. Anything helps!
