Meet Joel Nevarez. At just 10 years old, he has already accomplished what many golfers spend a lifetime chasing: he is the official North Chicago Spring Tour League Champion!
But if you ask Joel, this wasn't an overnight success. A proud Mexican American athlete, Joel has had a golf club in his hands literally since he was in diapers. What started as a toddler swinging plastic clubs in the living room has transformed into a ferocious, focused talent on the green.
After dominating the local circuit this spring, Joel has earned a prestigious invitation to compete against the best young golfers in the world at the Summer Nationals in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
The Next Step on the Fairway
Palm Beach Gardens is legendary in the golf world, and competing there is a massive milestone. Joel has the drive, the swing, and the championship title—now he just needs to get there.
We are raising funds to help cover the costs of Joel’s journey to Florida, including:
• Tournament registration fees
• Travel and flights from Chicago to Florida
• Lodging and meals during the multi-day national tournament
