Get Jocelyn walking again

My wife Jocelyn and the mother of my child has been suffering with plantar fasciitis pain since her injury began while play basketball in high school. She has been in pain on and off for the last decade and has done physical therapy, has had arch supports made, cortisone shots and utilized all of her options but nothing has helped. The last 4 years she has not been able to run and enjoy something she loves that helps her stress and cope with life. After Jocelyn got pregnant with our son, her pain got significantly worse. She recently quit her job because her pain was so intense she couldn’t walk anymore. Jocelyn worked at a local elementary school as a Behavioral Intervention Technician working with special needs children. She absolutely loved her job working with children although the pain of being on her feet all day became unbearable. At this time she is dedicated mother and a student enrolled in a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Masters program. It has been extremely hard to watch her in pain and not be able to walk anymore, she can’t even walk down the hall or take our son for short walks because of the pain she is in.
We found out recently Jocelyn needs two surgeries on both of feet. The minor surgery is a plantar fascia release surgery which will be done on both feet and recovery is about 2-4 months per foot but total recovery is about a year and is $4,000 per foot. Then she needs to have a full arch reconstructive surgery on both feet where she will have one foot done at a time and will not be able to put weight on her foot for 3.5 months and total recovery will be about a year in a half for that specific surgery. This surgery will be about 20,000 plus.
We are extremely saddened by the unfortunate circumstances but we are hopeful that this first surgery will keep her comfortable enough to stand and walk with mild pain as we wait for our son to be a little older and then proceed with this next major surgery. At this time we are wanting this release surgery done as soon as possible so she can get back to standing and walking without pain. It has been very difficult to have this affect her quality of life. Anything would be greatly appreciated at this time. Thank you the Doherty family!
