Overseas training camp

Hello!

My name is Jenson. I am a 15-year-old competitive swimmer asking for support so that I can continue my journey to National and International level competitions.

Swimming is an expensive sport at competitive level and there is very little financial support available. With the cost-of-living crisis my parents are finding it increasingly difficult to support my passion, so I am reaching out to fund my overseas training camp in February.

I started competitive swimming at the age of 8 when I joined Kingsbury Aquarius Swimming Club. In 2023 I was offered a place at City of Birmingham high performance Swimming Squad who I and have been training with, and representing, to date.

I am the Warwickshire County Champion for all 3 breaststroke events and the 200m butterfly. I am ranked in the top 3 for several other events. I represented Warwickshire in the National Inter-County Championships in October 2022 & 2024, helping to promote the County to division one.

I qualified for multiple finals at the West Midland Regional Championships earlier in the year and came away with several medals.

I have been selected to attend Swim England’s National Talent Pathway Programme for two years running.

My biggest achievement to date has been qualifying for both British and English National Championships where I made it to the finals and finished in 4th place.

My goal for this season is to qualify for multiple events at the Summer National Competitions and ultimately to make it onto the podium!
