Get Jayden Young to Summer Scholars Program
This beautiful young lady is my Granddaughter, Jayden Mackenzie Young. Jayden is a 15 years old, 10th grade, Advanced Placement, straight A's student at the KIPP Dubois Collegiate Academy. She has consistently carried a 4.3 GPA. Having discovered a love for science in 1st grade, Biology & Medicine remain strong College Major possibilities. Do I sound like a proud Grandmother? You don't know the half of it!
On a referral by her School Counselor, Jayden has applied for admission & received a Scholarship to the Notre Dame Summer Scholars Program, which she will begin in late June, 2021. The family has vowed to come together to support Jayden, getting her what she needs. However, the Laptop & other educational tools recommended by the program amount to approximately $2,500. We simply are not in the financial position to put that amount of money together in the few short weeks before the program begins. This Go Fund Me is now our only hope of getting Jayden the materials she needs to realize a successful experience.
Jayden has kept her end of the bargain, consistently demonstrating Academic excellence!
