Get Jake’s Tap Aff

Hey guys! So I need to get something off my chest… MY TITS!

As you all know I have started my transition I’m already on hormones and the next step/ the biggest and most important step to me is my top surgery! My chest is something I have had issues with since the day my mum told me I was going to get b@@bz (triggered myself, love that for me) and from that day forward I have not been ok with my body and have struggled trying to find ways to hide them and make them look as flat as possible!

My surgery alone is going to cost me £7,120 (Tear rolls down face) that’s not including all the additional costs such as the £150 consultation fee and the £280 psychologist fee that I’ve had to pay just to be able to book a date for surgery! On top of this I’ve also paid a £200 joining fee for my private Gender GP, £150 to speak with their therapist and then £30 a month subscription fee and the £49 a month for hormones, both which I will need to pay for the rest of my life as my GP was not up for doing shared care (again tear rolls down face) This of course is on top of general things like binder costs and having to get clothes to fit as my body changes ect so it’s a lot of money and causing a lotttt of stress as you can imagine!

I’m sorry to go on about the prices of all the little bits but I feel it is so important to share what it costs a transgender person just to be happy and true to themselves.

I know many people will think that this is my “choice” but trust me if it was my “choice” I’d have been born in the right body I’m trying to have positive vibes tho and remind myself that all this stress will be worth it in the end when I’m a happy handsome b@zturd!

Mind when someone said money doesn’t buy happiness? lol xo

It was my amazing sister that suggested I do a go fund me and I was and still am very embarrassed about it but this is something I need to be able to live happily! It sucks that it costs so much to be able to live your life right but you know … trans healthcare ✌
