Hello there,

My name is Jake, and I’m a professionally trained actor and stunt performer based in the UK. Ever since I began training and working within performance, I’ve always been drawn to the physical side of storytelling, the discipline, precision, athleticism, and commitment of stunt performers who put their bodies on the line to help bring stories to life on screen and stage.

I trained full-time at one of UK’s best Acting School, where I developed a strong foundation in acting, movement, stage combat, and physical storytelling. Alongside acting, I have dedicated years to fight performance for stage and screen, training in disciplines including Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, sword fighting across multiple weapon systems, firearms, archery, falling techniques, and more. These skills have only strengthened my passion for pursuing stunt work to a higher professional standard.

My goal is to become a fully recognised stunt performer by earning entry onto the British Stunt Register, the highly respected industry-standard pathway for stunt professionals within the UK film and television industry. I have already had the opportunity to work on productions around the world as a stunt performer, but being recognised and held to the high standards of the British Stunt Register has always been a lifelong ambition of mine.

The challenge is that the process is incredibly demanding, both physically and financially.

To qualify for the register, performers must reach high standards across multiple disciplines such as horse riding, martial arts, swimming, scuba diving, climbing, gymnastics, and more. Training, lessons, travel, specialist equipment, examinations, memberships, certifications, and assessments all come at a significant cost, often running into thousands of pounds over several years.

I am fully committed to putting in the work myself. I train consistently, continue developing my skills, and approach this pathway with complete seriousness and professionalism. This fundraiser is not about avoiding the hard work. It’s about helping remove some of the financial barriers standing between me and the opportunity to pursue this career properly.

Any support, no matter the amount, would go directly towards my British Stunt Register qualifying disciplines, including:
