Jake suffered a TBI on October 26th. He has been fighting hard and is almost ready to be moved to a rehab. Insurance refuses to cover any costs to get him back toward home, they would rather keep him in North Dakota. We live in north Iowa. I am currently here in Minot with our youngest child. Our older 2 are at home, trying their best to keep things moving without both parents.

I have found an air ambulance that runs entirely on volunteers. We just have to cover the cost of jet fuel from Minot to Ankeny. I was quoted $18,000.

They removed the trach today and he has been off sedation for almost a week now. Once funds are raised, we can get him moved.

Please, if youre able, help get my husband closer to home for Christmas.

My kids desperately need me back home and I really need Jake to not be 11 hours away when I do head back home.
