Help Jacob get his wife & child back from Indonesi
Donation protected
I am the grandma of little Paula who was born in December 2019. Grace & Jacob were living in Australia after marrying in 2018.
When Grace fell pregnant, they made the decision for Grace to go back to Indonesia for the birth as it was more cost effective because Grace had no Medicare card in Australia.
She intended to be there with her own family till February 2020.
A flood came on 1st Jan & washed through her family home. We tried to bring her back quickly then as her & the baby were displaced. This didn't happen then due to hold -ups in immigration.
When the immigration & visas did get approved in March, Covid came on the scene and stopped the international travel.
Here we are in April 2021 and it is heartbreaking to watch the phone calls every day for well over 12 months and them longing to be together with their daughter who has only been held by her father at birth.
It is possible for them to come now as Paula has an Australian passport. However with the cost of the higher airfares, application for partner visa (almost $10,000) and quarantine, their hope has been deferred.
These fees are out of their reach. This is why I have reached out on their behalf.
Thank you for reading their story and we would be grateful that you may consider to make a contribution if you are in a position to do so.
God bless you
