Get Jack Running Again!

Hey Friends, we are IN THE LOOP RUN CREW and want to introduce you to one of our crew members needing a little help to get running again.

 

My name is Jack Hennessy. I am a 26-year-old self-employed massage therapist in San Antonio TX. I also worked in my free time as a carpenter’s assistant. My hobbies and passions include nature, running, and studying movement. In the middle of March, I broke my right foot while on a weekly run downtown. This was a devastating injury that required surgery to repair. The recovery period following my foot reconstruction requires me to be non-weight bearing for 3-months. I have been unable to work since my accident.

 

 

 

 

Through the process of initial imaging, a grueling visit to the ER, surgery, and post operative appointments I have accrued over $20,000 in medical Debt. This has quickly eaten through my emergency fund and all my savings, and I have only just started my physical therapy journey. Though I will return to work as soon as I possibly can, I am presently out of money with no income. This entire experience has humbled me deeply and continues to do so. I have and continue to receive an abundance of love and support from my family, friends, and community; I would not have made it this far without you all. Thank you.

I have set the goal amount for this page at $20,000 as that is where the medical debt presently stands. Any amount you are able and willing to spare helps me tremendously, I am abundantly grateful for your support.

 

 

The road of recovery ahead of me is a long one, both physically and financially. However, with your love and support, I will get through this! Though this is the greatest trial I have faced so far in my life, I am thankful for the opportunity to grow. I believe I will come out the other side better than I was before.
