We could really use some help. As you know I am not currently working because my job ended when the company was sold. Since then I have been taking my mom to cancer treatments and taking Ivy to pre-habilitation therapy for her knee. Yesterday the hospital told us the out of pocket cost for Ivy’s surgery is almost $3,000, and I have already spent over $1,000. This doesn’t even include the bill for the emergency room visit the night she tore her ACL because I haven’t seen the bill for that yet. Then the majority of physical therapy will be done in January-April so the deductible will be starting over at the beginning of the year. We decided to go ahead with her surgery without worrying about how we will pay for it so that she can get back to college as soon as possible. I don’t ask for help often, but when I do it because we really need it.
