Get Irina driving (Ukraine lady in Rush)

Hi there everyone, my name is Emma Connor, a local living in Rush, Co Dublin all my life and a start-up business owner of Mrs Connor Cleaning Services.

Recently, we have all heard of the war currently ongoing in the Ukraine and alot of Irish people have kindly opened up both their hearts and their homes to the citizens of Ukraine who have had no choice but to flee their home country for their safety and in many cases leaving absolutely everyone and everything they know and love behind...

One such lady, called Irina, age 39, has had to do exactly that and landed in Ireland on March 16th 2022. Irinas husband is still in the Ukraine

I have been in contact with Irina since early March, exchanging emails almost daily. When Irina arrived, she was staying in a hotel in Shannon, until yesterday when I FINALLY got to collect her and bring her to her new home in Rush, Co. Dublin.

Irina is now living with a family member of mine and will commence work with us in Mrs Connor Cleaning Services, Tuesday of this week. We are absolutely delighted to have Irina and help her out in any way we can. She is truly a beautiful person, and even in one of the toughest times of her life, she is always smiling.

Irina has travelled with limited funds but is prepared to buy a run-around-car that she needs in order to work, from her own means, and is absolutely adamant to buy the car from her own means, she is very independent.

However, insurance in Ireland is absolutely sky high, as many of us already know, and especially for someone with no previous car insurance here in Ireland and therefore no years claims free driving.. Irina could really do with our help to get her on the road.

I'm hoping to raise enough money, for Irina to pay her 1st year's car insurance outright and her tax/NCT.

This would be an absolute blessing for Irina. It will give her a chance to get started, to be working and supporting herself, exactly the way she wants too... today... she didn't even want me to pay for her soup in a local restaurant she is very independent and I really want to give her the best opportunity that I can to support herself.

We have accommodation sorted, job sorted, even the car will be sorted...but its the insurance, tax and NCT that will delay things.. if you can help at all.. please donate ♥️ Together we can really give Irina a great start

I know many people who would love to help out and like anything, we often fear if our help is even reaching the actual people it should be reaching... and often it stops us from donating.
