Hi, we’re fundraising to get Iestyn to college in Kansas, USA. This amazing boy has worked his socks off to earn a football scholarship in Pratt Community College and needs to get there for pre season training by 1st August 2022.

Coming from a small village in south west Wales meant that opportunities to develop his football career here may have been limited but Iestyn has never let that stop him. Starting with Drefach FC when he was only four years of age, this 17 year old has dedicated his life to sport. Under an amazing coach, he started playing games when he was only six in 2010 - fast forward to 2020 and Iestyn travelled to trials to be represented by Soccer Assist. He was thrilled to be successful and began playing with them and attended a preseason training camp in 2021. As soon as footage of his games reached American coaches the offers of scholarships came flooding in. He chose Pratt Community College.

So over the past year in between his college course, playing for Drefach FC, playing for the college team, being signed for Llanelli Town FC and training daily, Iestyn has worked to save as much as possible for his trip. The cost of flights to America is well over £900 and we just want to be able to help him on his way to be able to fulfill his dream.
