GET HOPE TO HUNGARY WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS JUNE 2023

Hello! I'm Hope Chater, a 17 year old Junior Kettlebell Lifter who has earned my place on the 2023 Girevoy Sport Australia Association (GSAA) National Team.

I'm hoping to fundraise costs to represent Australia for the second time at the WKSF Kettlebell Sport World Championships being hosted in Hungary on June 23rd.

Unfortunately Kettlebell Sport isn't a nationally funded sport in Australia (Yet! ) all athletes who qualify for the team must fund their own expenses.

The funds I am fundraising are to help cover costs associated with travel for the competition (airfares, accommodation, team uniforms, registration fees, etc.)

Thanks to the fundraising generosity of the Border community last year, I was able to attend the 2022 WKSF World Championships in Portugal! Where I brought home a Gold and Silver medal for Australia!! The very first Australian to attend as a Junior competitor at this level of competition.

This year I have worked hard to achieve a high level of success in my qualifications for Hungary, being eligible to compete in the following: (The most notable being the first junior to qualify at the Professional Division)

One Arm Long Cycle - 24kg (Professional)

One Arm Long Cycle - 16kg (Amateur)

Snatch - 16kg (Amateur)

Snatch - 16kg (Junior)

Half Marathon (30min) One Arm Long Cycle - 16kg (Amateur)

Half Marathon (30min) One Arm Long Cycle - 16kg (Junior)

As I'm completing my HSC this year and turning 18, this will be my last chance to represent Australia as a Junior lifter.

Any donation you feel you could spare no matter how small will add up to me being able to reach the highest level of competition that I love so much while representing Australia.
