Hoddles Creek Cricket is a small, community cricket club in the Yarra Valley. As a family friendly club, we provide cricket opportunities for children and adults.

We operate financially by a mix of player subscriptions, grant applications and fundraising, and while this sounds easy, there is so much hard work in the background to keep this little club alive and viable each season.

Sometime in the past 48 hours, our club has been broken into and totally trashed. Our brand new drinks fridge has had the locked doors forced open and all the contents stolen. Our locked merchandise cupboard had the locks smashed and the doors ripped off, and our merchandise and other cricket equipment was stolen. Our cash tin and our eftpos machine have also been stolen.

The police have been unable to find any evidence that could be useful in tracking down the people who have done this.

In total we have lost approximately $2,500 in drinks, merchandise and cash, and this is devastating for our club because we now need to restock these supplies out of our own funds.

We would really appreciate any assistance you may be able to offer us. Funds raised will go toward restocking what we have had stolen from us.
