Gucci needs our help!
This little guy is a year and a half old, such a well behaved dog and my sisters world! This past Wednesday evening (October 21st) he slipped out of his collar while in the front yard and was struck by a speeding vehicle right in front of the house that didn’t stop or acknowledge wrong doing! Gucci has suffered a broken leg and extensive hip trauma as well numerous cuts. He was rushed into a veterinary hospital where he was hospitalized a couple days for IV Fluids, pain meds, stitches, X-rays, and to overall stabilize him. Gucci has been home now since this past Saturday (October 24th) and is in good spirits even though he’s wearing a cast, has an elizabethan collar on and has to be carried outside! He’s began to eat and is on a several medications numerous times a day to cope with pain etc. With the extent of his injuries my sister has been referred to a veterinarian in Prescott that can complete the emergency surgery he needs. The quotation for surgery is expected to cost $3800-$4500. Unfortunately my sister is in a single income household and the unexpected surgery costs are not feasible. Any donation would be much appreciated! This little guy has a lot of life to live and we’d hate to lose him with a tragedy like this!
