Get Greta to Fargo

Family, Friends and Wrestling Supporters,

My name is Greta and I’m a wrestler. I'm from California and just finished my freshman year of high school. Wrestling since 6th grade, this past season has been my best and most challenging yet. While taking first in Boy’s League I injured my knee.  After months of recovery and hard training I was able to come back and take 3rd in Freestyle State, earning myself an invitation to wrestle at Fargo, North Dakota, the biggest and best-known Junior National Freestyle Tournament in the U.S. I am training really hard with hopes of becoming an ‘All-American’ by placing in the top eight at Fargo on July 14 & 15, 2018. I am preparing physically and mentally for this challenge.

Because I am one of only two female wrestlers on an otherwise all-male high school team, my family has had to pay for all travel, tournament expenses, clinics, camps, club and gym fees this past year. Your donation will help to cover the cost of the flight, accommodations and meals, the mandatory 2-day wrestling camp for all qualifiers, CA USA team gear and the tournament fee. Your support will be appreciated very much!

Going to Fargo will give me exposure to national coaches as well as future prospective college & university coaches. This is my first chance to make my mark on the national stage.
