Gracie Glenn was admitted to Children's Hospital on October 5th, 2021 a week and a half before her 17th birthday with severe back pain. Two days later she went through a 6 1/2 hour surgery procedure on her T-12 and L-1 vertebrae's. Following the surgery Gracie was still in a lot of pain and did not have the feeling back in her legs and feet as the doctors had hoped. After a couple weeks of numerous more tests Gracie was finally diagnosed with CMS, Conus Medullaris Syndrome. She has lost about 90% of the feeling in her legs and feet, and is doing 5 hours of Physical and Neuro Therapy every day working hard to learn how to walk on her own. Gracie is ready to get home and back to normal as possible. She is strong, determined and has faith that she will fully recover. The medical bills have already started piling up for Shawn, on top of him being off work to be with Gracie every step of the way.
