Hello there; I'm Grace, a 12-year-old from Bristol.

 

As a Scout from the Cabot district, not long ago I was selected as one of the lucky few to go to the 25th World Scout Jamboree in South Korea.

 

I am so thankful for the opportunity but so much funding is needed for me to go. Between now and early next near I need to fundraise £3,495!

I am working so hard fundraising with help from my friends and school, but I am also going the extra mile by attempting to row the distance between John'O'Groats and Lands End; 1407km, on a rowing machine.

 

As I am a rower for Bristol City Rowing Club it seemed the ideal challenge. But it will be so much hard work as I am aiming to complete this distance before the end of 2022. That means I need to row at least 27km every week!

 

It would mean so much if you could sponsor a kilometre or two - as you can see my goal is £1,407, so a pound for every kilometre I row - as raising this will count as 50% of my goal.
