Hi Everyone
Normally Darren is the one who is give, give, give and never asks for anything.
As most of you would know, Darren has just had major emergency surgery to rectify an unexpected bowel and bladder condition. He has had to have part of his bowel removed and now has colonoscopy bag. He will hopefully get this reversed and have full functions later on.
As you know Darren does teaching and playing music to support his beautiful family. He will be off work for at least 6 weeks initially, which means eating into sick leave and no additional money coming in from music to help support his family. He is the sole income earner in the family.
Those that know him would know that he never asks for anything is always the one to give and give. I think it’s time to give a little back to this legend and help him and his family.
Money will be used to help support medical costs and equipment for his adjustments now at home, as well as, try and prop up secondary income for a short period of time. This will be a longish road and will need additional surgery down the track.
Whatever you can do would be great and every little bit helps. Think of it as a tip for all those times he’s played Brown Eyed Girl
