Meet Gooby!

On Sunday, September 14th, my husband found this young dog hiding underneath a car while he was visiting a client's pets. She had several large gashes on her body and was unable to walk. After offering her a slice of pepperoni, we became best friends.

We soon took her to the only vet that was open that day in the Las Cruces area for her to receive triage care. We learned that she had a severely dislocated hip amongst all of her other wounds. The veterinarian determined that she was likely hit by a car. We took her home later that day and have been caring for her since.

One more visit to the vet later, we discovered that she will need surgical correction of her hip from an orthopedic vet located in Silver City, New Mexico. As college students who own a small pet sitting business, we are asking for any help you may be able to provide in order to help pay for her rehabilitative care.

This care includes the price of diagnostics, xrays, surgery, spay, and other associated costs of her recovery. Thank you for helping this wiggly, sweet girl recover comfortably!
