I am looking for all who are willing to open your hearts and maybe your wallets to assist my cousin with some medical bills. He has had a rough couple of years dealing with issues of more than one system in his body with no true understanding of what is going on. Test after test doctors are still somewhat baffled with what is happening to him. Geoff is one who will help anyone at any time with his kind, kind heart. I am hoping we can all help a little bit or a lotta bit with a donation to the “Help Geoff Heal Fund”! As his cousin, who spent a lot of time with him growing up it is very hard for me to hear he is suffering. Please help us with what you can.
Here is an explanation from Geoff on what he has dealt with:
“About 2 years ago I started having the worst stomach issues, all of them. and shortly after that started getting sick every other week. after not to long I went to the doctors, and they couldn’t find anything wrong other than I may have mono, so we assumed it was that but. I just kept getting worse and worse, and all they could find was kidney stones. by this time, it wasn’t just stomach issues and colds anymore. on top of all that all my joints felt like fire and I was having dizzy spells all the time, and a fiber mitosis tumor started growing in my foot, a constant motion sickness that kept me in bed, also I wasn't able to swallow food. it would just get stuck. with no other option we started the kidney surgeries and did a few scans and scopes on my throat neck and stomach hoping it would solve something. they found a bunch of legions in my esophagus and I have bad gastritis. kidney surgeries didn't go well. the stones are so large he didn't think he could get them all on the first round, so we knew there would be 2 surgeries. on the first surgery the doc couldn't get into the kidney so he didn't get anything out. they put a stint in to stretch everything out in there so the tools would fit. that got infected badly so it delayed the second surgery. on round 2 they got into the kidney but only got a small amount of stone, so they replaced the stint and waited for round 3, I got another large infection, this time in my kidney, so that delayed the 3rd round. meanwhile I still had all my other problems, food started going down at this point but the dizzy spells were getting worse. 3rd round they barely got anything out and they decided to go a different route. the went through my back with 2 1-inch incisions to "get the rest"... this one was super rough on me. in bed for 3 weeks and got an infection in the lining of my lung and pneumonia put me in the hospital for 2 weeks. that brings us to 2 months ago. still having all the issues, pain everywhere. all my joints and muscles feel on fire, and I still have no energy. now I’m growing something in my neck, had it biopsied and they don’t know what it is. thank god it’s not cancer!!!! but it’s on the parotid gland and is causing issues, so it needs to come out. but considering I haven't had a good outcome on any surgery and I was just in the hospital, they won’t pull it now. so still on a waiting period.”
Geoff is a very talented, loving and caring person who just needs help and is afraid to ask for it himself!
