Get Gabi to Worlds

Hi! I am a high school junior in Kansas who competes in powerlifting. I recently won first in my division at USAPL Nationals, which has given me an opportunity to compete at IPF Worlds in Minsk, Belarus. The top 8 lifters in the nation get to compete and I have a spot! Powerlifting is a huge passion of mine and has gotten me through so much in life. I started powerlifting during a very hard time in my life. When I started lifting I was recovering from an eating disorder and many mental health problems. When I walked into the gym, all of those problems were left at the door. Lifting has been something I did to distract myself from the pain of what was going on in my life. On days that depression and anxiety overwhelms me, lifting gets me up in the morning. For me, powerlifting is an outlet and more than just a hobby. Going to Worlds is beyond a dream for me but it's going to cost quite a bit to travel across the world. It would mean so much if you would help me get there!
