FREDDIE UPDATE
Firstly, we just want to say how overwhelmed we are with everyone’s generosity and would like to say thank you so much for all your donations. Freddie especially has been taken aback with the support he has received.
We have been told at an appointment today that following Fred’s hard work with his ‘prehab’ that he is now ready for surgery.
We have a consultation booked for the 11th December with the surgeon where we will find out when the surgery will be.
Thanks everyone again, we are truly so grateful.

Freddie has lived and breathed football since he was young — starting at grassroots from Under-7s, progressing to district level, representing England Schoolboys U18s, and continuing his journey into adult football at Street FC.
During a match on 18th October, Freddie suffered a serious knee injury. The game was abandoned whilst waiting for an ambulance and resulted in the heart breaking news that he will need surgery.
Freddie needs an ACL reconstruction and because the NHS waiting list is extremely long we are asking for help to get a private operation. We worry that waiting could risk permanent damage, muscle loss, and losing any chance of returning to football at the level he worked so hard to reach.
Private surgery means Freddie can get the operation early, protect the rest of his knee, and begin proper rehab before too much time is lost.
Private ACL reconstruction comes with a significant cost — which is why we’re asking for help.
Your Donations Will Support with private ACL reconstruction surgery, specialist orthopaedic consultations, post-op physiotherapy, strength & conditioning to rebuild safely, rehab equipment and follow-up care.
Every contribution, big or small, brings Freddie one step closer to being back on his feet — and eventually back on the pitch.
