Wheelchair Van for Frank

Donation protected
Frank III was a healthy, vibrant and loving little boy until the age of 9 when he started to lose his ability to walk and speak. After numerous appointments with specialists and undergoing genetic testing, Frank was diagnosed with UBTF (upstream binding transcription factor), an extremely rare neurological degenerative disorder caused by a singular mutation in their DNA. At the time of diagnosis, Frank was the 3rd known case worldwide. Now, thanks to technology and databases, he is one of 14 in the whole world with this disorder. Now at 14 years old, he is completely reliant upon a wheelchair and other equipment for daily living because he no longer has the use of his arms and legs. His muscles have atrophied and his tendons are constricted. He needs 24 hour care in every facet of his life. There is no known cure, and at this point, his family is only looking to provide comfort for Frank. His mom and dad are in need of a wheelchair van to be able to leave the house for medical appointments and any sense of normal day to day activities. The wheelchair van will also make the transition easier for Frank during transport, not needing to be transferred in and out of wheelchairs and vehicles each time he travels.  Insurance does not cover the cost of a wheelchair van and they are not in a position to make such a purchase on top of medical bills, etc. Please help Frank and his family during this unexpected time of need. Please help Frank be more comfortable.
