Help Felix Take the Doorknowb to the National Invention Convention!
Out of 12,000 students who participated in the Connecticut Invention Convention last year, only 40 are advancing to represent our state—and Felix is one of them! He will proudly be representing Wallingford and our fantastic school system this June in Michigan at the National Invention Convention!
His invention, the Doorknowb, is a smart door knob that can be programmed to change colors to communicate a wide variety of different messages. It can signal "I'm in a meeting" for work-from-home parents, "I need help" for non-verbal children, or even to schedule reminders like "Don't forget to feed the hamster." From homes to businesses to college dorms, Felix’s innovative idea has the potential to make everyday life easier for so many people, and we are so proud of his hard work and creativity!
Attending the National competition is an incredible opportunity, but it comes with significant costs, including event fees, travel, and lodging. We want to make sure Felix can take full advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we’re reaching out to our friends, family, and community for support.
If you’re able to donate, any amount will help us get him to Nationals and allow him to showcase his invention on a national stage. If you can't donate, simply sharing this fundraiser would mean so much to us!
Thank you for believing in Felix and supporting his journey as an innovator. We can’t wait to see where the Doorknowb takes him next!
