Below is a picture of me holding an Olympic medal. It's not mine (duh), it belongs to hockey player Michelle Picard. This is the closest I'd ever been to anything Olympic. Next year, this will change with YOUR help!
I'm raising $26,000 to cover expenses associated to covering my first-ever Olympic Games.
I submitted my accommodation request form and will be expected to make my first deposit of roughly $4,750 (50% of projected hotel expenses) by May 1, 2021.
Here is a breakdown of my projected expenses:
Airfare - $10,000 USD
Hotel - $9,500 (50% due May 1, 2021)
Ground Transit - $1,000
Meals - $500
Per Diem - $2,000
Emergency - $3,000
TOTAL: $26,000
A great deal of my sports journalism career has been self-funded. I've never let that stop me from covering some of the biggest events in women's sports, such as:

~WNBA Finals
~2017 NHL Draft
~CWHL All-Star Weekend
~Hockey Hall of Fame Induction
~NCAA Women's Final Four
