If you know me, you know Eleanor - and you also know that asking for help is not my strong suit. But when it comes to Ellie, there’s nothing I wouldn’t put aside for her. Pride included.

Ellie needs TPLO surgery on her knee. I wish I could say I was fully prepared for something like this, but the truth is… I wasn’t. After getting estimates and weighing our options, the vet we trust has quoted the surgery at around $4,500. With everything that goes into getting her back to being the happy, goofy, always-by-my-side girl we all know and love, it’s more than I can pull together quickly on my own.

What I do know is that I don’t want her waiting in pain while I try to make that happen. So as uncomfortable as this is for me, I’m asking for help - because Ellie deserves the chance to heal and get back to being herself as soon as possible.
