As a young pup, Effie was diagnosed with a ectopic ureters. This was discovered from symptoms of leaking and frequent UTI's that wouldn't go away with antibiotics. Effie underwent open surgery and had both her urerters repositioned. She has recovered really well. However, we have been thrown another hurdle. Effie has a sore and limp back leg which requires further X-Rays and possibly surgery. Effie has taken her battles in her stride and been a strong girl. However, we are struggling to continue to afford the care she needs to get her back on track to being a normal healthy and happy puppy.
