In August, Shuki adopted Dutch and he quickly won the hearts of everyone here at Scale! Last week, Shuki had to rush him to the emergency room in middle of the night. He had to stay overnight and see a 24/7 neurologist who diagnosed him with Intervertebral Disc Disease. He was in chronic pain and was paralyzed in his back legs. The vet gave him a 90% chance of recovery with surgery. Shuki didn't hesitate and had the vet operate as soon as possible. Thankfully, he's now expected to make a full recovery, but will be on crate rest for the next month. We're raising funds to support the surgery and Dutch is excited to be back in the office in the new year!
