If you're like me you woke up in disbelief this morning. In a blink of an eye, Dottie Dukes has left this home and crossed over to her eternal one. You might be wondering how you can help the family at this time. Here is a practical way to ease some of the stress they are experiencing. 

Not unlike most Americans, we don't plan for this kind of emergency, and Dottie's daughter Laura needs our help to get her husband, Will Hausler, and her kids Greta, Emma, Billy, and Clayton  from Tennessee to California to say goodbye to their G-Ma. The cost of airline tickets for a family of 6 is already expensive, but traveling during the highest travel season, with no advance purchase, is as you can imagine, costly. But I have faith that we can help! 

We all know Dottie would not have wanted that kind of financial hardship on her family. So let's help with this burden like Dottie lifted our burdens, and get the Hauslers to California. 

It would take 60 people to donate a $100 dollars to make this happen in record time. 

We will remember her well by taking care of her family in the natural as she took care of ours in the spirit. 

If you can't donate $100 then please do what you can. At the very least give what it would cost to purchase a Venti drink at Starbucks. It's a perfect way to honor Dottie's precious memory. 

UPDATE: We fully funded their airline tickets. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! However, no one was prepared for Dottie to leave us, not even Dottie. Therefore the funeral arrangements are an unexpected expense her children were not planning for. Anything you contribute beyond our original goal will go directly to help ease the financial hardship of her burial and ease the stress of this event.
