Help Us Get Dodger Back on the Road

For years, one very special human has quietly been the heartbeat behind so many of our rescue stories.

If you’ve adopted from Wisconsin Adopt a Golden Retriever, there’s a good chance your dog’s freedom ride was driven by Cory.

8+ hour round trips.

Late nights.

Early mornings.

Her personal van.

Her personal time.

Thousands of miles.

Into the thousands of dogs whose lives changed forever because she said “yes” to the drive.

And that van has a name.

Dodger.

Dodger isn’t just a vehicle — he’s part of the rescue. He has carried nervous breeder mamas to safety. He has hauled crates filled with puppies on their way to their first soft beds. He has logged countless miles across state lines so our goldens could begin again.

This week, Cory was involved in an accident in Dodger — the very van she uses for all of our transports. Thankfully, she is okay. But Dodger, our rescue lifeline, needs repairs.

We are raising funds to cover:

• The repair costs

• Cory’s insurance deductible

Any funds raised above what is needed to fix Dodger will go directly back into Wisconsin Adopt a Golden Retriever to support ongoing rescue needs — medical care, supplies, and the everyday costs that come with saving lives.

Cory has given years of service without asking for anything in return. She has driven in rain, snow, and long dark Wisconsin nights so our dogs could have warm beds, full bellies, and forever families.

Now it’s our turn to show up for her.
