Hi my Friends,
I have a very exciting opportunity that God has placed on my heart for sometime now that I would like to share with you. As part of my growing desire to join God in serving people in need all over the world, I will be going on my first ever mission trip to INDIA!!! I will be traveling with a group from my church, Cross Point. I’m looking froward to this opportunity to serve others and to share the love of God. How exciting is that!
Cross Point partners with an organization called SEED, which engages people in the city of Kolkata to do sustainable development and discipleship programs. SEED primarily works in Salt Lake Slum, the Dream Home and other communities. 250 people live in Salt Lake Slum and have little access to food or clean water. India is largely unreached, as less than 2% identify as Christians. Hinduism influences nearly all aspects of culture, and many people are apathetic or hostile to the Gospel.
I am seeking your prayers as well as financial partnership in this endeavor. If you would consider this request, your gift would be applied directly to the cost of the trip & my time away from work ($4200) and would be a huge blessing. I will be leaving for India on October 16th. I am eager for your prayer, support and partnership in this ministry, and I greatly value your friendship and help in this venture of FAITH.
He is doing wonderful things and I know that He will continue to be faithful to finish the good work He has started in me. God has given me this opportunity not only to further my FAITH, but also to join Him in His work in INDIA!!!

And how it all started … how all things start, God. I had made my list years ago of things and places I wanted to go, see and do. Dreaming of big oceans, eating in international counties, flying a plane and driving a race car. I soon added mission trip after hearing stories from friends whom had been called themselves. All said “life changing” or maybe that is all I heard. All I knew was that God placed it on my heart to write it on my list. Well, this is my year. God spoke, He said get uncomfortable. One Sunday not long after, Cross Point played a video showing how our donations had helped a village in India receive running water. Beautiful right! I did not know it then but later that day or maybe the next week, I was sitting with my best Courtney and her husband Isaiah talking (lots praying) and out of nowhere I said out loud … I am going to India. I could feel it in every inch of my body. He has lead me and shown me confirmation daily. I have never felt more confident and peaceful about anything in my life. I am here to serve. I am going to INDIA!!!
