Get Denis Dufresne healed up!

Multi Award Winning Artist and Musician, Denis Dufresne, has been supporting major acts all over the world as a fiddle player and multi instrumentalist. As well, his blossoming duo, The Charms, was set to take off this season with venues booked across Canada after a year of investment in the bands launch.  

  

A series of events has put this Calgary Musician in a tough spot. His year started with a burst appendix and this May a major shoulder/arm break that is yet to have a conclusive recovery date. He will be unable to play, perform or be physically active with his upper body for 3-6 months. This also means the studio, where Denis serves musicians with virtual and streaming audio/visual services and session work is out of the question for now. A proper recovery is so important with this type of injury.

Stampede/ Summer Festival Season is where the majority of this musicians annual income is earned. This season will not be one he can participate in this year.   While he’d love to be playing shows for his income, this is an opportunity to support a member of the Music community that loves generously, innovates skillfully and has dedicated his life to the art and community of Music.  

We are working to raise funds towards Denis’ recovery and cost of living while he is unable to work. We can’t wait for him to get back to the career he loves. A Silent Auction via Facebook will follow in the coming weeks.
