DeliaDelia! The Flat Chested Witch! is returning to Edinburgh Fringe this summer 2025 for a full run with Underbelly every night at 11pm! This is an extraordinary opportunity and it can't happen without your support! After sell-out shows in NYC, guest appearances at music concerts, comedy shows, cabarets, and even wrestling rings, DeliaDelia is taking her cauldron back to Scotland to continue to share her important story with the world.

The show is Amando Houser's debut solo show and is directed by Kedian Keohan. An allegorical tale based on the "witch hunt" on trans rights follows an eccentric flat-chested witch on a journey to fit into the human sphere and pursue her dream of becoming the greatest basketball player of all time. She is ultimately met with the obstacle that she isn't a "real girl" and therefore can't make the team.

DeliaDelia has received five and four-star glowing reviews and has been featured in TimeOutNY's best shows of 2024, The Art Newspaper, To Do List London, Topical Cream, and Brooklyn Rail, being hailed as a "tour de force" and "delicious." Legendary Australian performer duo The Umbilical Brothers called the show "hilarious, provocative, and surprising."

The story of this show is a humorous fantasy but is also autobiographical and extremely personal. The current administration in the United States, as well as the recent overruling of trans rights in the United Kingdom, has inspired me more to keep playing this show and developing it to be the best it can be. I've taken bits from my own life and childhood growing up as trans and wanting to be great at sports when I was pursuing a serious career in it but felt there was no place for me when I realized who I was inside. I hope to bring people together to laugh about this absurd and real issue that lurks in our society! DeliaDelia is a goofy and nasty-looking witch, but she really is full of love and wants to be everyone's friend. This show is truly for everyone and I can't wait to keep sharing the character with as many people as I possibly can!
