Get Dejojo to EVO 2023 for Guilty Gear -STRIVE-

I’m Dejojo, a fighting game player from the UK who has been competing in Guilty Gear -STRIVE- for the last two years since the game’s release, previously competing in SFV.

This year, I wanted to push myself to compete as much as possible with some of the strong placings I’ve achieved in EU tournaments online and offline.

That's why I self-funded a trip to the US to play Combo Breaker and CEO, where I made it through to day 3 at both events, placing 17th and 5th respectively.

With the Arc World Tour bringing me back to EU to play Brussels Challenge, I don’t have the funds to travel back to the US to play at EVO 2023, which is why I’m looking for support to get me to that event.

I'm currently looking for support from a sponsor, but friends in the FGC have reached out and encouraged me to put together a GoFundMe to get there!

I intend to compete in Guilty Gear -STRIVE- only, as I have been for the summer so far to give me the best possible chance of playing my best and qualifying for Arc World Finals.

To make the trip, I'd need £1200 to pay for flights, hotels and registration. Anything additional will help me with existing while in Las Vegas but I have a little money left to use for walking around - the travel costs are what I can't afford at current.
