Help Deckard get healthy again

As many of y'all know, it's been a long 3 years for Deckard.
What was supposed to be an easy shoulder surgery with a quick 8-week recovery turned into 3 long years of one rare complication after another, emergency surgery, and blindly fighting an infection in his body that they can't seem to identify.
We have finally exhausted everything we have and are humbly turning to friends and family for support.

To those who don't know what's been going on:

Three years ago, Deckard underwent a distal clavicle excision (DCE) surgery on his left shoulder. His routine recovery was interrupted by his first complication—a very rare bone growth called heterotopic ossification (HO) from surgery.
Two months later, we planned to undergo a revision surgery to remove the HO—and, at the same time, he had a DCE performed on his right shoulder.

Unfortunately, that surgery was delayed in the pre-op room when his heart went into AFIB. Three months later, he was finally able to undergo the dual procedure.
Shortly after, we relocated to South Dakota to get some family support during all this.

Unfortunately, his right shoulder never healed, and three weeks ago Deckard went back under to have another revision surgery to perform another DCE and remove scar tissue.
Easy peasy recovery finally, right???
Nope.

Last week, his recovery took a very scary turn. Deckard developed a very rare post-op septic infection in his shoulder and was rushed for emergency surgery on Friday.
We've spent the last few days in the hospital being monitored closely, getting pumped with IV antibiotics, and waiting to see if Infectious Disease can identify what is causing the infection.
We finally are home but still not in the clear, since they can't seem to identify what is causing the infection.

The next few weeks will be very critical, and he will be going in to receive IV antibiotics daily and monitoring his symptoms very closely since they don't have a clue what the infection is in his body.

Deckard has been through hell and back these past 3 years, and we both have been pushed past our limits financially, emotionally, and physically.
Between time off work for both of us, medical bills, medications, bills, and getting him to and from his infusions every day, it's time we finally ask for help from friends and family.

Even if you are not in a position to help, keeping us in your thoughts and prayers would mean so much to us while we focus on getting Deckard stable, healthy, and fighting off an unknown infection in his body.

With love,
Andie, Deckard & The Kitties.
