Many of you know Dean McCoy — a true cornerstone of our Age of Chivalry Renaissance Faire. For decades, he has poured his heart, energy, and time into building the battle pageant, guiding countless activities, and making this event the living, breathing tradition we all cherish.

This year, Dean faces new challenges with mobility. To ensure he can still be a full part of the faire, we are working to secure a rental mobility scooter for the weekend. Unfortunately, we were unable to find a scooter to borrow, so now we turn to our community for help.

We are asking for crowdfunding support from guilds, friends, and Faire family. Even a small contribution will make a big difference — together, we can easily cover the cost of the rental.

Dean has always been there for us, helping to create unforgettable moments and keeping the spirit of chivalry alive. Now, this is our chance to return the favor and make sure he can continue to do what he loves without restriction or exhaustion.
