Donation protected
UPDATE
Dad is back in the UK and at the Norfolk and Norwich hospital awaiting the much needed treatment.
We used the funds raised to help us pay for the private repatriation of dad to help get him where he needs to be.
On behalf of our family I’d love to thank each and every one of you for all the support you’ve all show us, it’s been unbelievable.
Any further donations will help Kevin on his road to recovery
Thank you so much each and every one of you. ♥️
Hi, many of you may or may not know me.... but im jack and Kevin is my dad.
Kevin went on holiday on the 6th of January to Thailand for a good friends 60th birthday and fell ill soon after arriving everyone there just thought it was the normal sickness bug after a few days in bed in the hotel room with no improvement Kevins condition took a turn for the worst, they had a local doctor come in just to check and the next day he was admitted to the local Hospital. At this hospital they put him on different drips to stop the sickness and dizziness, none of these things improved his health at this point. The doctors then done a CT scan as they were getting more concerned which found something much worse. I got the dreaded phone call 5am Tuesday morning saying my dad had brain cancer and that they need to get him back to the UK before they can start any treatment, they moved dad to a different hospital which was in trang.. 2.5 hours away from his friends, dad and Tina made the journey in an Ambulance to the new hospital where they done a MRI scan and monitored his condition. The insurance company are being useless and the doctors have said these things can take weeks or more to get people repatriated back to the UK but the longer he's out there the longer he's going without treatment so we are trying to get him back asap. If you know my dad he doesn't moan much but all he keeps saying is he really wants to come home which is breaking my heart and everyone else's.
Im hopefully between everyone we can raise the funds to help get Kevin back!
These medical repatriation journeys as you can imagine aren't cheap so anything will be unbelievably greatly appreciated
Dad is also a self employed bricklayer which also means he will have no income for the foreseeable future so if there's any change after getting him home hopefully this will keep him on his feet without causing anymore stress and he can start his journey to recovery in the best place possible
I hope this reaches the right people
So much love from me and all of his dearest family xxx
