Hi, my name is Daniel Linn and I am a part of the River Falls Youth Hockey Association. Recently I had found out that a friend of mine on the Squirt B hockey team, Coby Clark, age 10, is going through a brain tumor. While at a hockey tournament he had not been feeling well. He was taken to Children’s Hospital where he was later found to have a brain tumor. During this time he had been going through multiple seizures. Coby’s mom Anna Clark was my second grade teacher, and Coby and I both are goalies for the River Falls Wildcats. For the time I’ve know Coby he has always been an energetic, kind kid who loves playing goalie.
Please support Coby and his family through this tough time. Any donations will be greatly appreciated by his family.
*UPDATE*
The Clark’s are once again facing an enormous hurdle that they hoped they wouldn’t have to come to.
Coby will begin the process of having a stem cell transplant and an intense round of high dose chemo where all of his white blood cells will be killed off and he will be in insolation for at least a month.
This has to take place at Mayo in Rochester which means Anna and James will be taking turns being with Coby, driving 1 1/2 hours both ways, multiple days a week. In addition Anna will have to extend her unpaid leave at work in order to be with Coby.
Please consider donating to the Clark family to help ease this financial burden they continue to face.
Coby has stayed so strong and positive through all of this, but these next couple months are really going to be hard on their whole family. They can really use all your prayers!
