Get Cleethorpes Wildlife Rescue Back On The Road!

Our van is again off the road for mechanical repair, and with no backup van, we cannot attend any emergency rescues or complete any transports to and from our specialist rescue partners until further notice.

Sadly, our wildlife ambulance frequently has mechanical issues, and we can no longer afford to run an ambulance rescue service with the one we have.

We have considered a new rescue van on a few occasions; however, since 2023, we’ve lost just over 1/3rd of monthly donors but carried on as best we could because we know times are hard for everyone right now. This, and given that the latest quote is over £500 to repair the van, on top of a £805 bill that was paid for other mechanical issues at the end of October 2023 and multiple before this, it simply isn’t possible to continue unless we’re able to get a more reliable wildlife rescue vehicle! And preferably, one slightly larger for our needs!

Our rescue is one of the very few in the UK that offers such an advanced rescue service. We handle wildlife rescues in water, rescues at height, rescues in hazardous areas, and also do long-distance transports to get specialist care for the multiple wild species we rescue. Having a wildlife ambulance is the backbone of all of these operations, and without one, we cannot help the wildlife that needs us.
