On March 7th Chuck went to the hospital because of a sore on the bottom of his left foot. He was quickly admitted as there was lots of infection in his foot that needed to be taken care of. Upon further testing it was determined the infection was spread much farther than just Chucks foot. Initially the thought was Chuck would lose his pinky toe and just a little side of his foot where the infection was. Chuck would undergo surgery in a couple of days. The infection had to be drained. Due to the infection Chuck's heart went into AFib Chuck died three times on the night of the 9th . But God wasn't ready for Chuck. The doctors were able to revive him successfully all three times. Chuck remained in the hospital being treated for the A-fib and the infection . On March 10th Chuck underwent the foot surgery, he lost all of his toes and the top half of his foot. Chuck spent a couple more days recovering and came home on the Hospital on March 12th. Chuck has a boot that he required luckily Dalton had several of them he could have one. Chuck uses the boot to walk around and is getting around okay. Check got to spend some time with his son jack AKA Bubba before he left on a senior trip with his friends and their families Chuck was unable to attend because of his situation. On March 16th we got a phone call that Chuck was back in the hospital. This time being treated for congestive heart failure, diabetes, and intestinal problems. Chuck was released from the hospital on March 21st . Bubba is home with him and taking good care of him . Chuck's line of work has been slow due to covid. Long story short Chuck has no medical insurance . I want to remind you this is the man who brought cupcakes to the football stands for all the parents, who brought beef jerky to the stands for the parents, he's also the man who started the infamous defense chant at the football games. He left every game without a voice he's a dedicated I'm stressing them out single father, a hard worker and Chuck is a veteran who served this country as he continues to do every day. He will also require a prosthetic in the future to walk again. That is not going to be cheap . he needs our help. Anything you can do would be greatly appreciated , we're praying Chuck will remain at home healing and not have to go back to the hospital. Please pray for Chuck and Let's help this beautiful soul. He needs all of us Warriors pass this on to anyone you know that would be greatly appreciated.
