Hi! My name is Chloe DeForrest, I'm a 7th grader at "THE" Mariner Middle School in Milton, Delaware. I was recently nominated as the only student from my school to be invited to attend the Junior National Young Leaders Conference 2021 (JrNYLC, http://jrnylc.com) in Washington D.C (only 10 students within the past 17 years have also been nominated). I was nominated for this opportunity by Dr. Alison Herman, my English/Language Arts (ELA) teacher, THANK YOU!!! This conference gives students six days of onsite experiential learning including-leadership focus groups, field study experiences, simulations, and an opportunity to hear a keynote speech from this years speaker, Anthony Robles. The cost of Tuition for this program is $2,495 which will cover housing, conference materials and meals for the six days. My family is unable to cover this cost alone by the deadline of March, 19th and I need help to achieve this goal. I am thankful for your help, if you can, a little goes a long way!
