Get Charlotte to Italy 2024

Dear friends and family, I'm writing to let you know about the exciting opportunity that I have been given. I've been accepted by La Musica Lirica, International Opera Festival for singers. This extraordinary program takes place in Novafeltria, Italy located in the Marches region and runs from June 22nd and to July 27th 2024. The program will allow me to work with nationally and internationally recognized faculty to include Maestro Joseph Rescigno -former principal conductor of the Florentine Opera of Milwaukee, Pietro Billi, Italian Opera Conductor, Joan Patenaude-Yarnell - one of the most successful voice teachers from Curtis Institute, Manhattan school of Music, Robert Breault-tenor, Brygida Bziukiewicz Kulig, accomplished Polish soprano, Bruno Di Simone, Italian baritone, one of the most valued singers, Craig Rotenberg, Internationally acclaimed Opera Coach, Pianist and Vocal Adviser to The Metropolitan Opera, and Ubaldo Fabbri - world known opera coach (for years he was a principal coach for Luciano Pavarotti) to name just a few.

I am in the Opera division and have been rewarded the role of Anina in La Traviata. I Have also been awarded the opportunity to under study the role of Susanna in Le Nozze Di Figaro (The Marriage of Figaro) The opera productions are fully staged and performed with the professional Symphony orchestra from Ravenna, Italy. I will also be taking part in La Musica Lirica's 25th Anniversary Concert by singing Messa Di Gloria by G. Puccini. In addition to the concert and rehearsing the operas, during the first 4 four weeks, I will receive up to 20 hours of Italian per week, two half-hour coachings with Rossini Opera Festival coaches, two forty-five minute voice lessons and several master classes offered during the fifth week. The overall cost of the five week program is around $10,000 dollars, which includes tuition, transportation, room and board.
