Friends, we come to you today asking for your help for a special rescued dog named Celeste. Our organization, Project Save Animals, works hard to rescue dogs from the brutal dog meat trade in Hanoi, Vietnam and dog culling and pet markets of Pakistan. We recently helped bring Celeste from a dog meat market to the United States, and now this sweet survivor urgently needs your support.

Celeste is a 10-year-old female dog who has endured unspeakable cruelty. We rescued her from Vietnam before she became someone's dinner and helped find her a loving home in Fremont, CA. For the first time, Celeste got to experience the joy of being a cherished family pet. But her past soon caught up with her.

During a routine vet visit, we were dismayed to learn Celeste has severe stage 4 periodontal disease. Her molars are so rotten they will likely need full extraction. Left untreated, Celeste will continue suffering and remain at risk for other medical issues. After all she’s endured, we cannot fail Celeste now. She is currently unable to eat properly as she is in immense pain.

Here at Project Save Animals, we pledge to get our rescues the best care possible. But Celeste’s extensive dental work will cost at least $2000—far beyond our current budget. We started this GoFundMe because Celeste urgently needs your help. Your donations will directly fund the x-rays, extractions, medication, and aftercare Celeste requires.
