Hi, my name is Sara, and I'm fundraising to help myself and my husband get caught back up on rent, monthly bills like electric and internet, as well as get our car fixed, inspected, and re-insured. We have hit a rough spot in life between jobs, and no matter how much we job hunt, it never seems to get us jobs. With us having a child in school, it's rough at the prospect of not only losing our place of residence, but also losing the ability to job hunt on the internet, and without a car to get places, it would make interviewing even harder, let alone getting to and from work. Where we live is limited public transporation, and nothing is within walking distance.

I know it's a bit to ask for, but any amount would help, and the total amount would let us get caught up for another month while we continue to job hunt while also allowing us to have a bit of safety net for any other unexpected emergencies that might pop up.

The funds would be used for these reasons:

Pay two months of rent (so we don't have to live out of our car)
Pay the internet and electric bills (so we can keep the lights on, cook, and continue to job search)
Get our car fixed so it can:
be reinsured and
pass inspection (which is overdue)
allow me to get my state ID renewed (it's expired currently)
and any other expenses like gas, clothing, etc for ourselves and our kid.
