Catherine Ann is a passionate animal lover who is currently studying biology at The College of Charleston with the goal of eventually working in wildlife rehabilitation. She just recently got accepted into a program that would take her to Greece for four weeks. The aim of this program is to better understand and monitor the habitat structure and population dynamics of marine animals around the eastern Aegean islands. The ultimate goal is to establish marine protected areas in the hopes of saving marine animals and other precious species. This program also includes an opportunity to assist with tasks at the Aegean Marine Life Sanctuary project. This is the first refuge in the world which works to provide a solution for the long-term retirement of dolphins that were formerly held in captivity. She is currently trying very hard to raise funds to get there and wants nothing more than to be apart of the conservation movement for endangered species. This would also be a once in a lifetime opportunity for her to study under seasoned professionals and learn skills that she would never learn in a classroom. Any amount you could give would be a huge help. P.S we are keeping this fundraiser a secret so don't spill the beans!
