Update: Update: Cervical Cancer Stage 2 - Radiation Fund

March 30, 2023
After having a hysterectomy in January, I was told in February that I did have Cervical Cancer Stage 2.
It was removed with clean margins but if they had known cancer was present, they would of done a more aggressive approach.
Since they didn’t know they fear the cancer spread so now I’m doing radiation.
I go 5 times a week and require 28 treatments.
I started last week and it was another roller coast of emotions. Which is why i am updating now.
Since I am on DACA and not a permanent resident, I do not qualify for JPS Connections so everything is out of pocket.
I was quoted $50,000 for treatment but with a self pay discounts, it will be $30,000 and I had to give $5,000 down.
My gofundme is still active. If anyone would like to donate I would really appreciate it.

‼️‼️Ladies PLEASE if you have not gotten your HPV Vaccine for you or your daughters, pleaseeee talk to your doctors!!
HPV is so common 80% of people get it! but it only affects the cervix. So men do not have to worry about it.
And there is a VACCINE but my parents didn’t know about it, I already got it for my daughter when she turned 12. It’s very important. I even got it for myself last year because there are different types of HPV and it’s always better to be safe.
‼️ Also please make sure to get regular check ups!
I went almost 5 years with out a pap, if I had gone sooner it would of been caught earlier

I spoke with the cancer specialist, he advised With the cervical cancer being 3cm that would put it at a stage 2, the chance of it coming back would be 30% and radiation would reduce it to 14%. He believes that would be the best course of treatment. I am still trying to find insurance so as of now everything will be out of pocket.

Update: Hysterectomy did show cervical cancer was present.

Dr did explain that cervical cancer was present, 3cm but all margins were clear. I have a follow up with a oncologist to discuss treatment options.

Hi, my name is Angela Ramirez
I am a stay at home mom that helps provide for my family by couponing.
I have 4 kids, 1 son (15) and 3 girls (13,5,1).
In August of 2022 I found out that I have high-grade abnormal pre-cancer cells in my cervix. I have been dealing with since I was 16 years old, only they were low grade, and now are high grade.
My doctors recommended a hysterectomy and I should of had it done in November. But on September 25th I was in a bad car accident. When taken to the ER my 13yr old daughter had abdominal pain so they did a CT and found she had a benign tumor on her left ovary. She was then scheduled to have it removed November 2022. So I put mine aside to take care of my her.
Now that she is better and healed, it’s my turn to have my procedure.
I am asking for donations to help cover the cost of bills for the time I will be in recover, as well as any other medical expenses that may occur. Any amount is a huge help and greatly appreciated.
My surgery is scheduled for January 9th 2023.

Thank you for your time
